Security System
The Security System consists of twenty-three closed circuit cameras located throughout the building and in the garage levels, which are observed on eleven video monitors at the main security desk. Door alarms and access controls are all computerized. Trained on-site security personnel operate the Security Desk 24 hours per day, seven days per week.
Life Safety System
The updated Fire and Life Safety System is operated and monitored through a sophisticated computerized control system. The building is fully sprinklered, equipped with smoke detection and smoke exhaust devices, fire extinguishers, a life safety communication system, elevator recall and a central fireman's control room located at the main entry. The building provides ongoing fire and life safety instruction and maintains an emergency control team program.
Building Mechanical
Building heating, ventilation and air conditioning is separately activated through the use of heat pump units, which allows for efficient after hours air conditioning. To facilitate after hours HVAC requests and minimize energy consumption, all mechanical systems are operated and monitored through the building's computerized energy management system.
